Puerto Escondido has a genuinely good food scene, built around fresh Pacific seafood, Oaxacan specialties brought down from the mountains, and the international menus that follow wherever surfers and digital nomads go. The Adoquín strip is where most restaurants concentrate, but some of the best food is found in the back streets.
