One of the two main dive operations based in Puerto Aventuras marina. Dive Aventuras runs reef dives on the nearby Caribbean reef, cenote dives in the cave systems inland, and full PADI courses from open-water to divemaster level. The cenote dives — into the flooded cave networks that honeycomb the Yucatan limestone — are the most dramatic option and can be done as a day trip from the marina.
Equipment rental is available and the boats are in good condition. The marina location means departures are straightforward. Book cenote dives at least a day in advance; the sites fill up quickly in high season.
