San Blas is a quiet town and the nightlife reflects it. The main plaza has a couple of simple cantinas and palapa bars where locals and travellers drink cold beer through the evening — but the jejenes (no-see-um gnats) drive most people indoors before midnight. There is decent coffee in a few spots around the plaza, and fresh fruit juices at the market are a good morning ritual.
