Casa del Mayorazgo de la Canal is one of San Miguel de Allende's grand colonial houses. Built for a wealthy local family, it now houses a bank, but visitors can usually enter the courtyard and sometimes see art exhibits on the ground floor.
The stop is brief, and visitors may need to sign in, but the house is close to El Jardin and the parish church, making it an easy addition to a walk through the historic centre.
