Parque Juárez is San Miguel de Allende's green pause, a leafy park just south of the historic centre and the streets around El Chorro. Its paths, benches, fountains, and basketball courts make it a real neighbourhood park rather than a manicured showpiece.
For visitors, it is useful as a slower counterpoint to the busy plaza around the Parroquia. Walk down Aldama, continue into the park, and linger if artists or small weekend events are set up along the paths. It is also a good reminder that San Miguel is not only facades and rooftop restaurants.
