Casa de los Azulejos is one of the prettiest historic buildings in Villahermosa’s centre, its tiled facade standing out in the Zona Luz. The house reflects the city’s late-19th- and early-20th-century prosperity, when Tabasco’s river trade and regional elites gave the capital a more decorative urban face.
It is a compact stop, best folded into a walk through the historic centre rather than treated as a full museum outing. Look for the tilework, balconies, and proportions, then continue toward the cathedral, plazas, and riverfront to make sense of old Villahermosa on foot.
