The Dr. Agustín Stahl House is a small museum dedicated to the 19th-century German-Puerto Rican physician, naturalist, and ethnographer who lived and worked here. Stahl wrote extensively on the indigenous Taíno people and on the natural history of Puerto Rico — he was the island's most important early botanist.
The house is a typical wooden Bayamón townhouse of the period, with rooms arranged around a central corridor. Exhibits cover Stahl's research, his correspondence with European scientific societies, and the botanical specimens he collected across the island. It is small and easily combined with the nearby Casa Museo José Celso Barbosa.
