The Bayamón Museum of Art (Museo de Arte de Bayamón) sits next to the Parque de las Ciencias and is operated by the municipality. The permanent collection focuses on Puerto Rican painters and sculptors from the mid-20th century onward, with a rotating programme of temporary shows by local artists.
It is not a flagship institution on the scale of San Juan's MAPR, but admission is free and the building is modest enough to see in under an hour. Easy to combine with a visit to the adjacent science park.
