Medieval Times is a dinner-show chain operating out of a faux-eleventh-century castle next to the freeway in Buena Park. Guests are assigned a coloured knight to cheer for, eat a meal of roast chicken and ribs with their hands (no cutlery), and watch jousting, sword fights, and falconry in a sandy arena.
It's wonderfully silly. Children love it, and if you go in the right spirit, so will most adults. The castle is hard to miss from the 91 Freeway; book ahead for weekend evenings.
