A large regional park on the south-western edge of Livermore, with paved and dirt trails running through ancient oak woodland and along Arroyo del Valle creek. The park is named for the large California sycamores along the watercourse, some over 200 years old.
The 6-mile loop is one of the most popular walks in the Tri-Valley, easy underfoot and shaded by oaks for most of its length. Wildlife sightings — golden eagles, bobcats, the occasional mountain lion — are common in early morning. Small parking fee.
