Fullerton's attractions cluster around the compact downtown grid and the leafy Cal State campus on the eastern side of town. The historic Fox Theatre, the Fullerton Museum Center, and the Muckenthaler Cultural Center sit within a short walk of one another in the centre, while the Fullerton Arboretum at Cal State Fullerton is a genuine green surprise. Outside of these, Fullerton is more a place to drink, eat, and listen to live music than to sightsee.
