Tournament House is the former Wrigley family mansion (as in William Wrigley Jr. of the chewing gum fortune), now the official headquarters of the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Association. The Italian Renaissance building was donated to the city of Pasadena by William Wrigley III in 1958 on the condition that it be used for Tournament of Roses activities. It houses the association's offices year-round and a small museum about the parade and the Rose Bowl game.
Free tours of the house and gardens are offered on select days during winter, when the seasonal decorations for the New Year's festivities are on display. The formal gardens, which include rose varieties bred specially for the Pasadena climate, are pleasant year-round. South Orange Grove Boulevard, nicknamed "Millionaire's Row" in the early 20th century, has several other surviving mansions from the same era.
