JUSTIN is one of the best-known names in Paso Robles wine, and its Westside estate is worth visiting for the setting as much as the tasting. The winery specialises in Bordeaux varieties — particularly its Isosceles blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot, which put Paso on the national wine map in the early 1990s.
The property includes a small inn and restaurant, making it possible to overnight on-site and taste from the cellar at leisure. Day visitors can book tasting flights in the handsome tasting room. The long driveway through oak woodland and the views from the terrace make the drive out from town worthwhile even for those not particularly interested in wine.
