Santa Rosa's headline attractions are its two oddly specific small museums — to Charles Schulz and to Luther Burbank — neither of which has an obvious equivalent anywhere else. Add the Museum of Sonoma County, a wander through Railroad Square and the rebuilt Courthouse Square, and a drive out to one of the parks, and you have a full day before you even reach the wineries.
