The former Southern Pacific railway station at the north end of Main Street, a small brick-and-redwood building from 1868 with the original eaves and roof brackets still in place. The line carried passengers to and from San Francisco and freight from the valley's wineries; passenger service ended in 1929. The depot is now used as commercial space and is listed on the National Register.
It is a five-minute look — the building, the surviving stretch of track behind it, and the loading platform. The Napa Valley Wine Train tourist line, which runs through town between Napa and St. Helena, stops nearby in season.
