A South Indian vegetarian restaurant on El Camino Real that has been packed since it opened in 1996. The dosa list is the heart of the menu — Mysore, paper, ghee, family-sized — served with sambar and three chutneys on stainless steel platters.
The dining room is functional rather than romantic. Service is fast. Prices are low by Silicon Valley standards. A weekend lunch usually involves a short queue; the lunch buffet on weekdays is one of the best-value meals in town.
