When the Wynwood Brewing Company opened on NW 24th Street in 2013, it was the neighbourhood's first production brewery and helped seed the craft-beer scene that has since spread across the blocks. Still family-owned, it remains the most characterful of the local taprooms: an unpretentious room with the tanks in plain view and a rotating set of taps anchored by the award-winning Pop's Porter and a reliable La Rubia blonde ale.
It is an easy place to decompress after an afternoon of mural-hunting. Tours run on weekends, and the patio fills up early on Art Walk nights.
