Harry P. Leu Gardens is one of Orlando's best non-theme-park breaks, with extensive plant collections, camellias, roses, palms, and a historic home set around shaded paths. It shows a quieter, older side of the city.
Go in the morning for cooler walking and better light. The gardens are close enough to downtown to combine with Winter Park or Mills 50, and they are a strong choice when you need a low-key day.
