A long-running fine-dining option in a restored 1908 building on Avenue D, the closest thing to formal in Apalachicola. The menu mixes Gulf seafood with steaks and pastas, all done well; the wine list is more ambitious than you would expect for a town of two thousand people.
The Owl is reservation-only on weekends and a good choice for a single special meal during a multi-day visit. Lunch is served in the more casual Tap Room downstairs. Both close on Mondays.
