A blue-shutter shack on Water Street, set up over the river on stilts, serving oysters six ways and most of the rest of the local catch. The raw bar holds the focus — Apalachicola, Cedar Key, and occasionally Texas oysters depending on the harvest — but the gumbo, the shrimp po'boy, and the grilled fish are all reliable.
The deck overlooks shrimp boats tied up across the channel. It fills early at sunset and there is often a wait; the bar is the better strategy if you are not a large party.
