Buford Highway

A long, ugly commercial strip northeast of the city that is also Atlanta's most concentrated international food zone. Korean barbecue, Vietnamese pho houses, Mexican taquerias, Chinese hot pot, Salvadoran pupuserias, Ethiopian bunna bets — all in strip malls along about six miles of Buford Highway.

You will need a car or rideshare; the strip is not walkable in the way that an Asian district in San Francisco is. Notable spots: Quoc Huong for banh mi, Hae Woon Dae for Korean barbecue, Chong Qing Hot Pot for Sichuan. Cheap, authentic, the city's most diverse dining.
