Getting There

Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) is one of the busiest airports in the world, located about 10 miles (16 km) southwest of downtown near the I-85/I-285 interchange. Delta is the dominant carrier with a major hub here, but all major domestic and international airlines serve Atlanta.

The easiest way into the city is MARTA's Gold and Red rail lines, which connect directly from the airport to downtown Five Points station in about 20 minutes. A single fare is around $2.50. Trains run frequently from early morning until midnight.

Taxis and rideshare (Uber, Lyft) are readily available at the airport. Downtown is roughly a $35–$45 taxi ride depending on traffic. Rental car facilities are connected to the terminal by shuttle bus.
