Atlanta has a genuinely good food scene, strongest in Virginia Highlands and Inman Park. Southern cooking — fried chicken, biscuits, collard greens — is done seriously here, not as a tourist performance. Buford Highway, a stretch northeast of downtown, has some of the best Korean and Vietnamese restaurants in the American South.
