A 75-acre natural history museum and outdoor forest in Druid Hills, with a large IMAX screen, dinosaur fossils — including a 123-foot Argentinosaurus — and a network of canopied trails through an old-growth piedmont forest. Good for half a day with children.
The night-time Fernbank After Dark events on Fridays, with cocktails and live music among the dinosaurs, are popular with adults. The forest trails are open even when the museum is closed and are themselves worth a visit.
