A pocket park overlooking Frenchman Bay at the foot of Main Street, with a Civil War memorial and a fountain. The pier here is the dock for whale-watching cruises and the Bar Harbor–Winter Harbor ferry to the Schoodic Peninsula.
The Shore Path begins at the far end of the park. Useful as a meeting point or somewhere to watch the lobster boats while you eat a takeaway.
