Egg Rock Light is an 1875 lighthouse on a bare ledge in Frenchman Bay, east of Mount Desert Island. You cannot casually visit the rock, but the lighthouse is visible from parts of the Acadia National Park Loop Road and from boat trips on the bay.
It is a small sight, but it adds a classic Maine detail to the views from the eastern side of Bar Harbor and Acadia.
