Ard Godfrey House

Ard Godfrey House is the oldest surviving frame house in the Twin Cities, built in 1849 by the millwright who helped construct the first dam and sawmills at St. Anthony Falls. The house now stands in Chute Square and is usually visited for its early Minneapolis history and summer weekend tours.
