Getting There

Eppley Airfield (OMA) is Omaha's airport, served by most major US carriers with direct connections to hubs including Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Minneapolis, and New York. It is about 8 km northeast of downtown, a 15-minute drive. There is no train service to the airport; taxis and ride-sharing are the standard options.

Amtrak's California Zephyr stops in Omaha once daily in each direction, connecting it to Chicago to the east and Denver, Salt Lake City, and the Bay Area to the west. The train station is on the western edge of downtown. By road, Interstate 80 passes through Omaha east-west and is the main highway connection to Chicago (8 hours) and Denver (8 hours).
