Concord sits at the intersection of Interstate 93 and Interstate 89, an hour and a half north of Boston by car. Most visitors arrive by road. The nearest major airport is Manchester-Boston Regional (MHT), about 35 km south, served by several US carriers; Boston Logan (BOS) is the bigger option an hour and 45 minutes away and far better connected internationally.
There is no passenger rail to Concord. Concord Coach Lines runs frequent buses to Boston Logan Airport and South Station from its station on Stickney Avenue, and seasonal services up to the White Mountains. For travel within New Hampshire a car is essentially mandatory; the state is rural, distances are short, and public transport outside Concord itself is minimal.
