True Brew Barista, on South Main Street next to Red River Theatres, is the de facto downtown living room — a small cafe that does serious coffee and a steady food menu of pastries, soups and sandwiches. Local roasters supply most of the beans; the espresso is reliably good. The room has a few tables, a bar along the front window, and a corner stage that hosts open-mic nights and small acoustic acts most evenings.
Wifi is fast and free, and the staff are friendly about long laptop sessions. Probably the most useful place in downtown Concord if you need to get an hour of work done between meetings.
