The fifth-floor rooftop terrace of La Fonda on the Plaza, open seasonally (April to October). The view is the prize: 360 degrees over the adobes of old Santa Fe, with the Sangre de Cristos to the east and the Jemez to the west. Sunset puts the cathedral in gold.
Cocktails are good and overpriced. Tapas-style snacks. The bar is small, you cannot reserve, and the queue forms before opening on summer evenings.
