Santa Fe has more museums per capita than almost any American city, and they are all worth visiting. The Museum of International Folk Art and the Georgia O'Keeffe Museum are standouts. The Santa Fe Opera, set in an open-air theatre in the hills north of town, runs in summer and is world-class. Beyond the cultural offerings, the Santa Fe National Forest provides hiking and mountain biking in summer and skiing in winter. Cowgirl BBQ in the Guadalupe district hosts live music nightly.
