The Lensic is Santa Fe's finest theatre, a 1931 Moorish-Spanish Revival landmark built by the same architects responsible for the Fox theatres in Atlanta and Detroit. In its vaudeville-and-film-palace heyday, Rita Hayworth, Judy Garland and Roy Rogers all played here. It was extensively restored in 2001 and now hosts year-round concerts, films, dance, theatre and the Santa Fe Symphony. Worth poking your head in even if nothing is showing.
