LeBauer Park opened in 2016 as the centrepiece of Greensboro's downtown revival. Within four square blocks the park packs in a fountain plaza, a great lawn for concerts and movie nights, a dog park, and a children's play area. It hosts farmers' markets, food trucks, free yoga classes, and regular summer events.
The park is bordered by the Greensboro History Museum and the Cultural Center, so a visit dovetails neatly with the indoor sights. Free, always open.
