The largest park in Moore, Little River sits at the southeast corner of the city around a small reservoir and offers the kind of all-purpose suburban green space the area is short of: paved walking paths around the lake, fishing piers stocked with bass and catfish, picnic shelters, and an extensive complex of softball and soccer fields.
It's a good place for an early-morning walk before the Oklahoma heat sets in, and on warm evenings the place fills up with little-league games and family barbecues. The lake itself is too small for proper boating but kayaks and paddleboards are allowed.
