Tulsa's bar scene is concentrated in a few walkable areas: the Blue Dome District downtown, Cherry Street in midtown, and the Brady Arts District north of downtown.
The Blue Dome District (around E. 2nd Street) is the liveliest on weekend evenings. Numerous bars cluster within a few blocks, ranging from craft beer-focused to cocktail bars to dive bars with live music.
Cain's Ballroom on Main Street is the historic anchor of the Brady Arts District — a legendary venue where Bob Wills played western swing in the 1930s and where touring acts from Americana to punk still play today.
The Church Studio, nearby on S. Trenton, was Leon Russell's recording space and has been restored as a music venue and bar. The space retains the feel of a working studio.
On Cherry Street (E. 15th Street), coffee shops, wine bars, and cocktail lounges mix with restaurants in the city's most pleasant outdoor-dining neighbourhood.
