Getting There

Tulsa International Airport (TUL) is six miles northeast of downtown, with direct flights to most major US hubs. The airport is compact and easy to navigate. No light rail connects the airport to downtown; taxis, rideshares, and rental cars are the options.

By car, Tulsa sits at the junction of I-44 (the Turner Turnpike connects it to Oklahoma City, 100 miles southwest) and the Cimarron Turnpike. US-412 runs east to west through the city. The Will Rogers Turnpike (I-44 continued) runs northeast toward Joplin, Missouri.

Amtrak does not currently serve Tulsa. Greyhound runs buses to Oklahoma City, Kansas City, Dallas, and other regional destinations from the downtown bus terminal at 317 S. Detroit Avenue.
