Deschutes Brewery Portland Pub

Deschutes Brewery's Portland pub occupies a large corner space in the Pearl District, with a working brew system visible behind the bar that produces pub-exclusive beers alongside the full Deschutes range. The lineup includes Black Butte Porter, Mirror Pond Pale Ale, and Fresh Squeezed IPA as anchors, with rotating seasonal and experimental beers.

The space is two floors with a large bar downstairs, a dining room upstairs, and a straightforward pub kitchen serving burgers, flatbreads, and bar food. The outdoor seating along Bond Street is popular in summer. It's a reliable choice for anyone who wants to drink Pacific Northwest craft beer in comfortable surroundings without paying a premium — Deschutes pitchers are good value.

A story
Deschutes Brewery was founded in Bend, Oregon in 1988 and is now one of the largest craft brewers in the Pacific Northwest. The Portland pub, opened in 2008, is a two-storey brewpub on NW Bond Street in the Pearl District that brews its own small-batch beers on-site alongside the flagship Deschutes lineup. Black Butte Porter — one of the first and still one of the best porters produced in the Pacific Northwest — is permanently on tap.
