Fluor Field at the West End

A 6,700-seat minor-league baseball park in the West End, home to the Greenville Drive — a Single-A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox. The stadium opened in 2006 and was deliberately modelled on Fenway Park: the left-field wall is a replica of the Green Monster, painted the same colour and standing at the same height, with a manually operated scoreboard. The game-day atmosphere is relaxed and family-friendly, tickets are inexpensive, and the West End restaurants are a short walk for dinner before or after the match.

story: > When the stadium was designed, the architects measured the exact angle of Fenway Park's famous left-field wall and reproduced it faithfully. The replica Green Monster at Fluor Field is painted Fenway green, stands 37 feet tall — identical to the original — and is manually operated by scoreboard keepers during games.
