Shoeless Joe Jackson Museum

A five-room brick house across the street from Fluor Field where Joseph Jefferson Jackson — "Shoeless Joe" — was born and raised. The museum opened in 2008 and is staffed by volunteers passionate about both Jackson and the controversy that ended his career. The exhibits cover his childhood in Greenville, his rise to become one of the greatest hitters in baseball history, and the 1919 Black Sox scandal that resulted in his lifetime ban from the game despite his acquittal in court. Small, personal, and genuinely moving for anyone interested in baseball history.
