West End

The historic neighbourhood immediately south and west of Falls Park, centred on Augusta Street and the streets around Fluor Field. The West End was Greenville's original commercial district in the 19th century, declined through the 20th, and has been gradually restored as the broader downtown revival spread outward. Today it holds some of the city's best independent restaurants, bars, and coffee shops, clustered around the baseball stadium and the former industrial buildings along the river. The West End Commercial Historic District is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
