The Rose Establishment is one of Salt Lake City's best coffee shops, a spare and carefully designed space in a converted storefront in the Granary District. The coffee programme is serious and seasonal, with direct-trade beans and a thoughtful approach to both espresso and filter methods. A small food menu of pastries and light lunches runs alongside the coffee.
The space fills quickly in the mornings with creative professionals and remote workers from the surrounding arts district. It is one of the better examples of how the Granary District has developed as the city's main non-LDS cultural neighbourhood.
