One of the original Scott's Addition breweries, Ardent has maintained a reputation for well-crafted traditional styles in a neighbourhood that often favours the experimental. The taproom is comfortable and unpretentious, the beer consistently solid, and the outdoor patio is one of the better warm-weather spots in the district. Their saison and amber ale in particular are worth seeking out.
