The Magazine is one of Colonial Williamsburg's original colonial buildings, built to store Virginia's arms and ammunition. Its displays explain the weapons used in the colony and the military side of 18th-century Williamsburg.
It is a compact stop, but it helps round out Colonial Williamsburg beyond houses, churches, and government buildings.
