A small but well-tended 1990 Japanese stroll garden marking Olympia's sister-city relationship with Yashiro, Japan. The garden packs a koi pond, a five-tier pagoda, a teahouse pavilion, a stone bridge and meticulous moss work into a quarter-acre lot on Plum Street.
It is at its best in April when the cherry blossoms come out, and again in October as the Japanese maples turn red. Free admission, open daily during daylight hours.
