Neville Public Museum of Brown County

Regional museum covering the history, science and art of northeast Wisconsin

The Neville Public Museum is the main cultural institution in Green Bay, covering the natural and human history of northeast Wisconsin from the last ice age to the present. The permanent collection includes significant Native American material, particularly relating to the Oneida, Menominee, and other peoples of the region, and the Wisconsin-focused natural history exhibits are strong.

The museum also mounts rotating art exhibitions and has a good collection of Wisconsin-made decorative arts and material culture. For a free-standing regional museum, it punches well above its weight. It is located in the compact downtown area near the Fox River.
