Wequiock Falls

Small but picturesque waterfall on Wequiock Creek, north of Green Bay near Lake Michigan

Wequiock Falls is a small but pretty waterfall on Wequiock Creek, tucked into a shaded ravine just off Highway 57 north of Green Bay. The falls drop about 10 feet over a limestone ledge into a clear pool, surrounded by old-growth trees that keep the site cool in summer. It's easily missed by drivers, which is part of its appeal — there's little signage and no infrastructure beyond a short path, so visitors tend to be local.

The surrounding Brown County Park has picnic areas and access to Green Bay shoreline. The combination of the waterfall and the nearby lake shore makes for an easy half-day excursion from downtown. It's best visited in spring when water levels are high, though it runs year-round.
