Two oddities side by side downtown: a bulbous reflective-glass office tower the locals call the Onion, and a squat lattice-frame building everyone calls the Egg Beater. Built in the 1980s as part of an ambitious downtown redevelopment, they have remained beloved or hated depending on whom you ask.
Worth a quick look in passing for the contrast with the brick storefronts of the historic district one block over. The plaza between the two buildings is a reasonable spot to sit with a takeaway coffee.
