Edifício Itália is one of central São Paulo's classic high-rise landmarks, completed in 1965 and long among the tallest buildings in the city. Its upper floors are the draw for visitors, with broad views over the dense downtown skyline.
The building is close to Copan and works well as part of a walk through the centro's 20th-century architecture. The view is best on a clear day, when the scale of São Paulo is easiest to grasp.
