Laguna rewards a slower pace than most beach destinations. The historic centre, the cooperative dolphin fishermen, the beaches in both directions, and the lighthouse at Farol de Santa Marta all justify more than a single day. The town is compact enough to explore on foot, and bicycles can be hired near the waterfront.
